Dylan Larkin just gave the Red Wings a lot more places to send him.

Larkin has expanded his trade list to 10 teams, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press. The six new destinations are the Hurricanes, Avalanche, Devils, Lightning, Mammoth and Capitals.

Here’s the full list we posted:

The Panthers, Wild and Golden Knights were the original three when Larkin asked out in June. Dallas was added shortly after that, and all four are still on the list.

Every team on it is American. The Canadiens are still missing, even after Bell Centre fans chanted “We want Larkin” during Detroit’s visit earlier this month. Larkin talked about that moment after the game.

Check out his answer on the chants:

A longer list means more teams that can bid, and interim general manager Shawn Horcoff has plenty to sort through. TSN’s Darren Dreger said this month that Detroit wants three or four pieces back, including two A-level prospects, a top-nine forward and a first-round pick.

ESPN’s John Buccigross predicted a deal within 7-10 days last Friday, which points to somewhere around Oct. 23 to Oct. 26.

Larkin is signed through 2030-31 at an $8.7 million cap hit and controls where he lands. He has a goal and two assists in six games this season after the Red Wings stripped him of the captaincy in September.

The report landed ahead of Detroit’s game in Seattle on Tuesday night.
