Andrei Vasilevskiy keeps climbing the NHL record book.

The Lightning goalie made 13 saves in Monday’s 4-1 win over the Flyers at Benchmark International Arena. That was career win No. 372, which ties him with Andy Moog for 20th on the NHL’s all-time wins list.

What stands out is how quickly he got there. Vasilevskiy needed 601 regular-season games to reach 372 wins. Moog played 713 games to hit the same number, and John Vanbiesbrouck, who sits alone in 19th with 374, needed 882.

Two more wins puts Vasilevskiy level with Vanbiesbrouck. Mike Vernon (385) and Dominik Hasek (389) are next in line after that.

Among active goalies, only Sergei Bobrovsky (456) has more wins. Vasilevskiy, 32, now owns a career record of 372-179-39 with 42 shutouts, a 2.50 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage.

It wasn’t a heavy night for him. Tampa Bay outshot Philadelphia 36-14, and the only puck that got by Vasilevskiy was a Tyson Foerster shot that deflected off Charle-Edouard D’Astous at 7:22 of the second period.

Brayden Point opened the scoring late in the first, and Pontus Holmberg made it 2-0 just 17 seconds into the second. Holmberg then set up Ilya Mikheyev on a wraparound with three minutes left, Mikheyev’s first goal since signing with Tampa Bay in free agency.

Take a look at the Mikheyev goal:

Brandon Hagel sealed it with an empty-netter. Nikita Kucherov added two assists, giving him 1,128 career points and moving him past Mike Bossy and Joe Nieuwendyk for 67th all-time.

Philadelphia is heading the other way. The Flyers dropped to 0-2-2 and have scored two goals or fewer in all four games, a slow start that already had Travis Konecny losing it on a referee over the weekend.

Dan Vladar made 32 saves in the loss and put the blame on the goaltending.

“We’ve got to be better and it starts with me and (Joseph Woll),” Vladar said. “Hopefully we’re going to turn this thing around because, obviously, this is not us. This is not fun.”

Tampa Bay has won two straight since a 5-1 opening-night loss to the Rangers, the game that had Jon Cooper calling it “an inconvenience to play.” Cooper was asked about the response since then.

“We’re not the only team that laid an egg in Game 1, there are a lot of teams in the League that had some tough outings,” Cooper said. “What I really like is that our next two have been pretty darn good.”

Next up is a home date with the Wild on Thursday, with Vanbiesbrouck’s 374 wins now two victories away for Vasilevskiy.
