Tomas Nosek is going home.
HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga announced Friday that it signed the 33-year-old forward. Terms were not disclosed.
The move almost certainly closes an NHL career that ran 514 games across 11 seasons, and it drops Nosek back with the club he left as an undrafted 21-year-old in 2014.

Nosek got to North America on the strength of a 19-goal, 44-point season in Pardubice that put Detroit scouts on him. The Red Wings signed him as a free agent in the summer of 2014, and he spent three years in Grand Rapids, winning a Calder Cup with the Griffins in 2017.
Vegas took him in the 2017 expansion draft, and that is where he became a full-time NHL player. He put up 65 points in 240 regular season games over four seasons with the Golden Knights, killing penalties and taking defensive-zone draws on the fourth line.
Boston signed him to a two-year deal in 2021 and got 35 points out of him in 141 games. A one-year stop in New Jersey followed, then two seasons in Florida, where he played 16 games in the 2025 playoff run and won the Stanley Cup.
Last season fell apart on him. A knee injury cost Nosek the first five months, he got into 21 games for the Panthers, and a broken leg in mid-April ended his year at two goals and two assists.
He walks away from the NHL with 47 goals, 73 assists and 120 points, plus 68 playoff games and a career faceoff mark of 53.5 percent.
Pardubice is not a bad place to land, either. The club won the Extraliga title in the spring, its fourth and its first since 2012, beating Trinec in six games.
Roughly half an hour before the signing went out, Pardubice teed the news up with a video and one line: “And when I’ve done all that, dad, I’d like to come back home, to Pardubice.” Take a look:
Nosek is the second Czech forward to head home from the NHL this month. Matej Blumel signed a four-year deal with Sparta Praha on July 17.
The homecoming is louder for Nosek. He will be in the building the night Pardubice raises its championship banner.
