Kirill Kaprizov did a little bit of everything against San Jose.

The Wild winger scored his NHL-leading 16th goal and added three assists in Minnesota’s 4-1 win over the Sharks on Friday at Grand Casino Arena. It was a four-point night, and it came a few hours after our post on the goal itself.

Watch Kaprizov open the scoring:

That one came on a 5-on-3 power play at 7:55 of the first period. Quinn Hughes sent a cross-ice pass to the right circle, and Kaprizov one-timed it five-hole.

He set up Maxim Shabanov for another power-play goal at 14:15 of the second. Shabanov parked near the left post and tapped in a backdoor pass from Kaprizov to make it 2-1. Kaprizov finished with three assists in all.

San Jose had tied it in between. Macklin Celebrini redirected a Dmitry Orlov shot over the blocker of Jesper Wallstedt at 12:11 of the second, and he now has 16 points in seven career games against Minnesota. Here’s the tying goal:

Hughes answered in the third. He shook off Celebrini in the right circle, skated up above the left circle and roofed a wrist shot past Yaroslav Askarov at 6:54 for a 3-1 lead. Hughes finished with a goal and two assists, and he has been working through the Wild record book since he passed Pavol Demitra earlier this season.

Take a look at the goal:

Zach Bogosian put it away with his first goal of the season at 13:58, ripping a slap shot into the far corner. Wallstedt stopped 23 shots, while Askarov made 25 saves for the Sharks.

The Wild are 12-3-3 and 6-0-1 in their last seven games. The Sharks are 7-10-1, have lost four in a row and six of seven, and this one came two days after a players-only meeting following the 7-2 loss in Los Angeles.

Kaprizov came in on a six-game point streak, so the four-point night stretches it to seven.
