Vegas is throwing a party before the puck even drops.

The NHL announced Friday that ILLENIUM will headline a free concert outside T-Mobile Arena ahead of Saturday’s Game 3 between the Golden Knights and Hurricanes. The Grammy-nominated producer hits the stage at Toshiba Plaza at 3 p.m. PT, two hours before the opening faceoff.

No ticket needed. Toshiba Plaza opens to the public at 2 p.m. PT, and fans without seats for the game can stay for an on-site watch party once the set wraps.

Doors at T-Mobile open at 3:45 p.m. PT for ticketed fans. The Golden Knights and Hurricanes get going at 5 p.m. PT, and parts of ILLENIUM’s performance will make the broadcast on ABC, ESPN, Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports.

ILLENIUM built one of the biggest followings in electronic music on a melodic, emotional sound. He’s sold out stadiums, stacked up gold and platinum plaques, and pulled in billions of streams.

Here’s one of his biggest tracks to set the mood:

Expect the building to be loud before anyone laces up. This is the first game of the Final in Las Vegas, with the series tied at one after Carolina evened it in overtime back at Lenovo Center.

Music at 3, hockey at 5, and the Golden Knights finally get their home crowd in the Final.
