Frederik Andersen picked the perfect spot for a guy who loves Lego.
The former Carolina Hurricanes goalie brought the Stanley Cup to Legoland Billund on Wednesday to celebrate his day with the trophy in his home country of Denmark. He posed with Lord Stanley in front of a pile of Lego builds, including a group shot with his family.
Legoland Billund posted a video of the whole thing on Instagram. Andersen kissed the Cup, then lifted it over his head in front of a giant Lego man.

The Lego thing is nothing new for him. Andersen has put drawings of Lego characters on his goalie masks for years, so ending up at Legoland with the Cup was about as on-brand as it gets.
The day didn’t stop there. Andersen and the Cup headed to his hometown of Herning, where hundreds of fans turned out to greet him. He posed for pictures and signed autographs deep into the afternoon.
It has been quite a week for the Andersens. Over the weekend, the veteran goalie married his wife, Annalise, in a Copenhagen ceremony that drew Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.
Andersen won it all with Carolina this spring, then signed a one-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers on July 1 after five seasons with the Hurricanes. His day with the Cup is one last piece of the Carolina run before he turns the page in Edmonton.
