The Jarry family is adding a girl.
Hannah Jarry announced Thursday night on Instagram that she and Edmonton Oilers goaltender Tristan Jarry are expecting their second child, a daughter. The reveal came as a video of the couple and their son Bennett sitting on a tractor, flipping through ultrasound photos with Austin Burke’s “2 Under 2” playing over it.

Bennett was born in April 2025, so the two kids will be close in age. Hannah marked his first birthday back in April.
Wives and partners around the Oilers room filled the comments with congratulations. Bre Nugent-Hopkins was one of them, writing “A girl! So excited for you guys,” per Daily Hive.
The baby is arriving with real hockey blood on her mother’s side. Hannah’s father is Kevin Hatcher, who played 1,157 NHL games from 1984 to 2001 and piled up 227 goals, 677 points and 1,392 penalty minutes from the blue line.
Her uncle Derian Hatcher had a career just as long. He logged 1,045 games and captained the Stars to the Stanley Cup in 1999.
Jarry has a heavier fall coming than most new dads. Edmonton acquired the 31-year-old from Pittsburgh in December in the deal that sent Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak the other way, and the half season that followed was ugly.
He put up a 3.86 goals-against average and an .858 save percentage in 19 games as an Oiler after going 2.66 and .909 in 14 appearances with the Penguins.
Stan Bowman is carrying three goalies into the season. Oilers insider Bob Stauffer spelled out the group in July:
Jarry remains the early front-runner to open as Edmonton’s No. 1, with Frederik Andersen and Devon Levi pushing him. His contract runs two more years at $5.375 million.
The caption put the pregnancy at the halfway mark, which lands the arrival somewhere around the middle of Jarry’s first full season in Edmonton.
