Athletes across the world are speaking out about the death of George Floyd and the protests that have occurred across the country as a result.

Floyd died after a police officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes while he was arresting him. Video of the incident shows Floyd pleading for his life and telling the officers that he couldn’t breathe. Since his passing, protests for justice and ‘Black Lives Matter’ have taken place across North America.
