The Predators tied up the last loose end from their Jack Drury trade on Thursday.

Nashville signed forward Chase Bradley to a two-year, two-way contract, the team announced. The deal carries an $875K cap hit at the NHL level. Bradley was the second player the Predators picked up in the Drury swap with Colorado.

Here’s the word from the team:

Bradley took an unusual road to this deal. Detroit drafted him in the seventh round back in 2020, but he never signed with the Red Wings. He spent three seasons at UConn instead, then turned pro in 2024-25 on a contract with Colorado.

The 24-year-old played most of his rookie year in the minors. He got into two games with the Avalanche and didn’t register a point.

His regular season stayed quiet after that, with nine goals and three assists across 42 games for AHL Colorado. The playoffs told a different story. Bradley posted five goals and five assists in 17 games during the Eagles’ postseason run, and that push likely earned him a spot in the Drury deal.

Bradley still has a year of waiver exemption left, so he’ll probably open the season with AHL Milwaukee and try to play his way into a recall.

The signing leaves Nashville with two restricted free agents still to sort out, forward Mavrik Bourque and defenseman Justin Barron. Both are arbitration-eligible, and the filing deadline lands on Sunday.
