The NHL handed out its season-long honors on Friday, and the First All-Star Team reads like a roll call of this year’s trophy winners.

Four players who walked away with hardware made it. Hart winner Nikita Kucherov, Ted Lindsay winner Connor McDavid, Vezina winner Andrei Vasilevskiy and Norris winner Zach Werenski all landed spots. Cale Makar and Jason Robertson rounded out the six.

Here is the full group:

McDavid’s spot came with some history attached. The Oilers captain picked up his sixth First Team berth at center, the most among active players and tied for second all-time with Jean Beliveau, Phil Esposito and Stan Mikita. Only Wayne Gretzky, with eight, sits ahead of him.

Kucherov grabbed his fifth First Team nod at right wing, also tops among active players. He edged McDavid for the Hart a day earlier, then joined teammate Vasilevskiy on the First Team to give Tampa Bay two of the six spots.

The Lightning enjoyed the double dip:

Robertson earned his second career First Team selection and his first since 2022-23. He poured in 45 goals and 96 points for Dallas to get there.

The Stars made sure everyone knew:

The Second Team brought four first-time honorees. Cole Caufield, Evan Bouchard, Rasmus Dahlin and Logan Thompson each earned their first All-Star nod. Nathan MacKinnon and David Pastrnak filled out the group, both making a postseason All-Star team for the fifth time.

Writers from the Professional Hockey Writers Association voted on the teams once the regular season wrapped.
