Mitch Marner Highlights
Mitch Marner FAQ
Marner has 821 career regular season points in 738 NHL games, on 245 goals and 576 assists. He is a point-per-game player over a full career, and he added 92 more points in 92 playoff games.
Toronto and Vegas worked out a sign-and-trade on July 1, 2025. Marner signed an eight-year, $96 million contract with the Golden Knights and the Maple Leafs got Nicolas Roy back. He had spent nine seasons in Toronto and never advanced past the second round.
He scored the fastest hat trick in Stanley Cup Final history on June 6, 2026, three goals in 6 minutes and 10 seconds of the second period of Game 3 against Carolina. That beat Maurice Richard’s 6:21 from 1957 by 11 seconds. Vegas won the game 5-4 in double overtime.
No. He led the 2026 playoffs in scoring with 29 points in 22 games, but Carolina won the Cup in six and Jordan Staal took the Conn Smythe. Marner received six voting points, from one second-place vote and three third-place votes.
No individual trophy. He was a Selke Trophy finalist in 2023 and lost to Patrice Bergeron, and he made the First All-Star Team in 2021 and 2022. He turned 29 in May 2026.
He is sixth in franchise points with 741 in 657 games, behind Mats Sundin, Darryl Sittler, Dave Keon, Auston Matthews and Borje Salming. He is fourth in franchise assists with 520.
He wears 93 with Vegas, the number he wore for three seasons in London. Toronto has 93 retired for Doug Gilmour, so Marner wore 16 there. His father was the Gilmour fan.
He won silver at the 2017 World Championship with 12 points in 10 games and silver at the 2026 Milan Olympics, where he scored the overtime winner in a 4-3 quarterfinal comeback against Czechia. He also won the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off with Canada and assisted on Connor McDavid’s overtime goal in the final.
