Macklin Celebrini and Will Smith went to Philadelphia and did the one thing everybody does in Philadelphia.
The Sharks forwards posted a video Friday of the two of them charging up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and throwing punches at the top with their arms over their heads. They shot it as a TikTok duet, so their run plays right alongside Sylvester Stallone doing the same thing in the 1976 original.

It moved fast. The clip had 250,000 views and 45,000 likes by Saturday afternoon, per San Jose Hockey Now, and the NHL’s Instagram account reposted it Tuesday with a caption that fit: “This looks familiar.”
This is their thing now. Smith and Celebrini run a joint TikTok account, currently under the handle @wmack271, and the Philadelphia bit is the latest in a growing catalog. Last October they went viral playing Lloyd and Harry from “Dumb and Dumber.”
Their hockey résumés are doing fine too. Celebrini is up to 178 career points, five short of what the entire rest of the 2024 top 10 has produced combined.
San Jose has been busy locking both of them up. Celebrini signed a five-year extension in late July, and general manager Mike Grier has made it clear he wants Smith signed long term as well.
Celebrini’s new deal put him on the same footing as his North Vancouver buddy Connor Bedard, who is on a five-year contract of his own in Chicago:
Sharks camp opens next month and the season starts Sept. 29. That leaves the account about eight weeks of free time to fill.
