The Hurricanes are calling on Taylor Swift for a little Game 6 magic.

Carolina dropped a doctored photo Saturday night of Swift in a t-shirt that read “Knickolaj Ehlers,” a nod to Nikolaj Ehlers, the winger who has been one of the best players on the ice in this Stanley Cup Final. Here’s the post:

It plays off a real moment from earlier in the spring. Swift turned up to Game 4 of the NBA Finals in a “Stevie Knicks” shirt, and New York went out and erased a 29-point deficit against the Spurs for the biggest comeback in Finals history. Take a look:

Now Carolina is hoping that kind of luck carries onto the ice. The Canes lead the Cup Final 3-2 and can lift the trophy tonight in Vegas, with puck drop set for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Picking Ehlers for the gag fits. He left Winnipeg to sign with Carolina last summer, and he has been flying through this Final. Check out one of his rushes:

Ehlers scored 25 seconds into Game 1 and has given the Canes a jolt every time he hops the boards. If Carolina closes it out tonight, the “Knickolaj Ehlers” tee might have to become real merch.
