The Battle of Alberta is officially back.

A brawl broke out between the Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers during the second period of Saturday night’s game at the Saddledome Center.

We now have obtained footage of the brawl from the stands. This fan video, courtesy of Jeff Gold on Facebook, shows the entire donnybrook from seats near the ice.

After things become unhinged, the video shows Oilers’ defenseman Darnell Nurse pointing for his former goaltender Cam Talbot to go to center ice to fight Oilers’ netminder Mike Smith.

There were a total of 102 penalty minutes handed out in the game, including two goalie ejections. It was the first ever goalie fight in the history of the Battle of Alberta. Both Talbot and Smith earned fighting majors in addition to 10-minute misconducts.

The Battle of Alberta is everything a hockey fan could ask for right now.
