San Jose Sharks’ blueliner Brent Burns is getting his off-ice acting career started on the right note. The 35-year-old appears as a guest star in Season 6 of the hit TV series “Vikings”. New episodes of the show were released on Wednesday.

Burns is sporting his signature look that features a top knot and long beard. He plays the character “Skane” and appears on the 13th and 14th episodes of Season 6 – the final season of the popular series.

Here’s a short clip of Burns in action on the show. If you want to see the full episodes, you’ll have to tune in on Amazon Prime.

The 6’5″ actor first appears in “Vikings” in the 13th episode of Season 6, called “The Signal”. You’ll see him around the 29-minute mark. His role is much larger in the next episode, “The Lost Souls”.

Burns has become one of the most interesting men in hockey over the course of his NHL career. Anybody who isn’t familiar with who this man is off the ice should simply watch this video to get a bit of an understanding.

Burns will be back in the action on the ice when the San Jose Sharks open their season against the Arizona Coyotes on January 14th. The two-way blueliner is coming off a down year in which he managed 12 goals and 45 points for a struggling San Jose squad.
