Playoff hockey is back in Montreal.

The Montreal Canadiens held a 3-2 lead over the Washington Capitals through two periods in Game 3, but it was the rough stuff after the second-period horn sounded that got people talking.

The two teams met in front of the benches before heading off the ice for intermission.

Tom Wilson and Josh Anderson, two forwards known for their agitating style of play, got into it, and it spilled over into the Capitals bench.

Wilson initially got into it with Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj, then Anderson stepped in. The door to the bench swung open and all hell broke loose between Anderson and Wilson.

Wilson gave it to Anderson on the ice, on the bench, and then afterwards for good measure.

Both Anderson and Wilson were given two minutes for roughing as well as 10-minute misconducts for their, well, misconduct. Xhekaj and Capitals forward Lars Eller were also each given coincidental roughing minors.

With the Canadiens 20 minutes away from making this a 2-1 series, things are sure to pick up between these two squads.

Game 4 in this first-round series between the Capitals and Canadiens is set for Sunday night in Montreal. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EDT.
