The Protas brothers went home to Belarus and put on a show.

Aliaksei and Ilya Protas suited up for a charity game in their hometown of Vitebsk on Saturday, part of the 2026 BETERA All-Star Tour, per RMNB. Aliaksei racked up two points and Ilya chipped in a helper as the BETERA All-Stars beat the Vitebsk Bears 5-2.

Ilya set up the opening goal, wrapping around the net and finding Stepan Falkovsky in the slot 8:45 into the game.

Watch Ilya’s feed on the game’s first goal:

Aliaksei saved his best for the third. He grabbed the puck in his own zone, carried it the length of the ice, and sniped one over the goalie’s shoulder to make it 3-1.

The game sold out the Vitebsk Ice Sports Palace, and every ticket dollar went to a local orphanage. Aliaksei talked about the cause behind the event.

“This is a great idea,” he told BETERA, per a translation. “I’m glad that we are able to organize such events.”

Take a look at the Pro Bros back on home ice:

Ilya soaked in the home crowd. He was asked about the atmosphere during an in-game interview.

“Unreal, unreal,” Ilya said of the crowd. “The stands are full. Of course, I wanted to experience the support of my home crowd, even in a charity match, and to see how they support me and cheer for me, it’s really cool.”

Before the puck dropped, the brothers ran a master class for about 30 kids from the local Vitebsk hockey school.

Both brothers are now with the Washington Capitals after Ilya broke through last season. Vitebsk was the first stop on the tour, with more games still to come.
