The Oilers are about to get thinner up front.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reported Thursday that Jack Roslovic is heading to free agency next month and Adam Henrique is not expected back in Edmonton.

Here’s how the report landed:

Roslovic is the bigger loss. He put up 21 goals this season after Edmonton signed him last offseason off a 22-goal year in 2024-25, and 15 of them came on the road. The Columbus native tied for the team lead with five game-winners and caught fire in November, when he scored nine goals skating next to Leon Draisaitl.

Watch Roslovic walk off the Blue Jackets in overtime during that November run:

Henrique is a different story. Edmonton grabbed him from Anaheim at the 2024 deadline, and his production has slid every year since. He skated in just one game this spring as the Oilers came up short of a third straight trip to the Final.

Both walking clears room for a roster that needs a reset. Edmonton already locked up Connor McDavid on a seven-year extension and is about to install a new bench boss, so the front office has plenty of work ahead. Roslovic and Henrique sit on a long pending-UFA list that also runs through Kasperi Kapanen, Jason Dickinson and Curtis Lazar.

Replacing a 21-goal scorer on a cap-strapped team is the part that should worry Edmonton.
