Playoff Mitch is in Vegas now.

Mitch Marner scored a natural hat trick and added an assist Friday night, powering the Vegas Golden Knights to a 6-2 Game 3 rout of the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center. Vegas leads the second-round series 2-1, and Marner has taken over the NHL playoff scoring lead with 13 points in nine games.

It was the first Stanley Cup Playoff hat trick of his career, in his 10th NHL postseason.

Watch the three-goal run here:

Marner kicked things off on the power play, banging in his own rebound with five seconds left in the first to make it 3-0.

He extended the lead to 4-0 at 9:19 of the second on a feed from Shea Theodore through the slot.

His third came at 17:56, when Marner curled out from behind the Anaheim net and ripped a short-side shot from the bottom of the left circle past Ville Husso.

Husso was already in for Lukas Dostal, who got pulled to start the second after surrendering three goals on eight shots. The change did not slow Vegas down, and the Knights led 5-0 by the second intermission.

NHL on TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette ran a self-imposed lap around the studio after Marner’s third goal, copping to it with a “You’re the best, I’m the worst, please take me back”:

Three goals on Friday were more than Marner scored in his entire 13-game playoff run with Toronto last spring. His 3-point closeout of the Mammoth in Game 6 felt like the new chapter. This one is a different book.

The 29-year-old is also the first Golden Knight to post three or more points in back-to-back road playoff games, per NHL PR.

Mark Stone left late in the first with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Game 4 is Sunday at Honda Center.
