Survey says Dylan Larkin should leave the rearview mirror questions to somebody else.
Larkin and Connor Hellebuyck swapped the ice for a game show set this week, teaming up with fellow Team USA gold medalists on “Celebrity Family Feud.” The episode aired Thursday, pitting the U.S. men’s and women’s Olympic hockey teams against each other, both playing for the USA Hockey Foundation.
The Red Wings captain gave everyone a moment when Steve Harvey asked the panel to name something people hang from their rearview mirror.
“One of those spiritual, uh… god, things,” Larkin said, laughing his way through the answer.
Harvey did not know what to do with that one. “I don’t know what you gonna say,” the host fired back before making Larkin repeat the whole thing.
Larkin’s “spiritual ribbon thing” got a giant red X. U.S. women’s star Laila Edwards bailed him out a beat later with “cross,” which was sitting right there on the board. Harvey kept the jokes coming at Larkin’s expense.

The guys got the last laugh where it counted. The men’s team edged the women’s side in a sudden death round, then racked up more than 200 points in the Fast Money round to bank $25,000 for the USA Hockey Foundation.
Not a bad summer cameo for two players fresh off Olympic gold. Both have been staples for the Americans, and Hellebuyck already headlines the projected U.S. All-Star roster for 2027.
For one night, the toughest thing Larkin faced was not a forecheck. It was a Steve Harvey stare-down over a ribbon that turned out to be a cross.
