The Stanley Cup champions are throwing a yard sale, and they are short on gear to sell.
Carolina opens its 2026 Yard Sale on Saturday at the Lenovo Center South Plaza, and the club told fans up front that the equipment tables will look thin. In its event listing, the team says the player equipment inventory is “greatly reduced compared to previous years,” with whatever is left labeled extremely limited.
Used sticks are on the list, and Carolina flags those as very limited too. Player-issued hoodies and running shoes fill out the rest of that table.
None of the equipment is autographed. Everything sells as-is, the prices are not negotiable, and the team is taking credit cards only.
Apparel is where the volume sits. Discounts run from 50 to 80 percent on jerseys, polos, quarter zips, women’s apparel, kids’ sizes and collectibles.
A separate Hurricanes Foundation section carries game-worn jerseys, replica sticks, pucks and signed pieces, with the money from those sales going to the foundation.
Season ticket members shop first, 8 to 11 a.m., and they need their account number at check-in. Everyone else gets 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parking lots open at 5 a.m., which tells you how these mornings usually go.
This is the first one Carolina has run as a champion. Rod Brind’Amour’s group beat Vegas in six on June 14 for the franchise’s second title and its first since 2006, and Jordan Staal took the Conn Smythe at 37. Here’s how that night landed in Raleigh:
