The Tampa Bay Lightning are not done yet.

Gage Goncalves scored 9:03 into overtime Friday night at Bell Centre, lifting Tampa to a 1-0 win over the Canadiens and forcing a Game 7 on Sunday in Tampa Bay.

Here’s the OT winner:

It was Goncalves’ first goal of the series, and it came off a rebound on a Jakub Dobes save. Goncalves talked about it after the game.

Andrei Vasilevskiy was the other story. The Lightning starter stopped all 30 shots he faced for his eighth career Stanley Cup Playoff shutout. Dobes wasn’t far behind in a 32-save night for Montreal that nearly won the series.

This was the sixth straight one-goal game between these teams and the fourth to need overtime. Lightning head coach Jon Cooper said it was a perfect example of how playoff hockey is supposed to look.

“Everybody wants goal scoring,” Cooper said. “That’s what everybody talks about and more goal scoring in the league. But if you watch tonight’s game, that didn’t need a goal. All it needed was one goal to end it.”

Tampa took a 3-2 series hole after Wednesday’s loss in Montreal and now gets the series back to Amalie Arena for a winner-take-all. Game 7 drops Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.

The winner draws the Buffalo Sabres in Round 2.
