The Carolina Hurricanes have a problem no power play tweak is going to fix.

A WWE wrestler put a hex on them, and now he wants to get paid to take it back.

It started Friday, when Danhausen recorded a Cameo for a Golden Knights fan and pointed it straight at Carolina. The self-described “very nice, very evil” wrestler kept the message short.

“Carolina Hurricanes,” he said. “You. Are. Cursed.”

Watch the hex that kicked all of this off:

Vegas ran the clip on the big screen at T-Mobile Arena before Game 3. Then the hockey gods, or whoever Danhausen answers to, got to work.

Carolina lost 5-4 in double overtime and fell behind 2-1 in the series, with Brandon Bussi relieving a pulled Frederik Andersen in net.

Danhausen was paying attention. On Sunday, he replied to a Hurricanes post on X with a business proposition.

“Pay Danhausen human money to uncurse this team,” he wrote, dropping a link to his Cameo page. He tacked on his usual fine print, warning that he is “not responsible for uncursing being altered by outside forces.”

Here’s the pitch:

The Hurricanes have not said whether they plan to open the checkbook.

They might want to consider it. A loss Monday night would drop Carolina into a 3-1 hole, and only one team in Stanley Cup Final history has ever climbed out of one. The 1942 Maple Leafs are still waiting for company.

Game 4 goes Monday night in Vegas, human money or not.
